Dear Comeback Trail – Long Island Participant,
We’re thrilled you’re joining us at Jones Beach on Long Island on Oct. 22 for our inaugural Comeback Trail – Long Island 5k run/walk. It will be a wonderful day to raise stroke awareness, celebrate survivorship and come together as a stroke community. As a registered participant, you have an opportunity to make an even bigger impact on the stroke community by becoming a Trailblazer who raises funds as part of your Comeback Trail 5k participation.
Getting started as a Trailblazer couldn’t be easier! Be sure to visit the Comeback Trail Participant Center for all the tools you need to get started today!
1. When you registered, your page was automatically set up for you and your registration fee was added to your fundraising to get you started.
2. Now all you have to do is log in to your personal fundraising page and update it with your stroke story
3. Then you’re ready to share your fundraising link with your friends and family.
Accessing your personal fundraising page: After you registered, you received an email from National Stroke Association notifying you that your fundraising page had been created. If you no longer have the email you can visit the Comeback Trail –LI event site to log in or reset your password. If you need additional help, contact us at [email protected] to get started!
When you raise $250 on your personal fundraising page, you provide necessary resources to stroke support groups and allow us to develop new and innovative programs to empower stroke survivors and their circle of care.
See you on the trail in just a few weeks!
P.S. When you log in to your personal event page, there’s also an option to create a team! Be sure to invite your friends and family to join you on the trail!
